Easter is an exciting time for us here at Forest & Sandridge and we would like to share with you the events that will be happening in the lead up to the Easter Holidays:
Easter Bonnets/Hats Parade & Competition
We’re looking forward to hosting an Easter Bonnet/Hat parade and competition on Thursday 30th March at 2.30pm. There will be Easter Egg prizes for the best bonnets/hats kindly donated by Forest Friends. The children have been invited to decorate/make their very own Easter hat creation at home and bring it to school on the morning of the parade. Parents are welcome to come and watch the spectacular array of hats being paraded and the judging that will be taking place on the football playground (nearest the field if it is fine) from 2.25pm. Afterwards, the children will be able to bring their hats home and celebrate Easter in style!
We’re all very excited to see the childrens hat and bonnet creations, please keep a look out for pictures from the day on our social media channels!
Forest Friends – Sponsored Bunny Hop
Forest Friends are running a Sponsored Bunny Hop on Tuesday 28th March. We’re proud of the children’s dedication to fundraising and all the children that take part will receive a chocolate lolly on completion. Please check our social channels for pictures from the day. Easter Celebration Service
Our Easter celebration service will be held at school on the last day of term, Friday 31st March at 9:15am. It promises to be a very special occassion where Rev Josh will be leading and speaking at the service. It’s a lovely way to end the term as the children and parents that have booked to come can enjoy taking part in the Easter worship, singing and celebrations. We look forward to seeing you there!
